Ah - I actually heard a snippet of this on an advert a couple of days ago and thought "that sounds like Kickabout!"

I've pasted your song list into a Google spreadsheet and have already rated over 100 songs out of 10, which will put them in an approximate favourites order...

40 Take The Long Way Round - SFNB
41 Middle Of The Road - SFNB
42 December - Bandwagonesque
43 Norman 3 - 13
44 Is This Music? - Bandwagonesque
45 Sidewinder - Bandwagonesque
46 He'd Be A Diamond - SFNB
47 Sparky's Dream (Alternative Version)* - GP
48 I'll Make It Clear - GP
49 The Count - SFNB
50 Dark Clouds - Shadows

*In here as it's the only Alternative Version I prefer to the original.

I doubt the number bands I like who could rival that top 50 would get near double figures. If it was based on minutes (or Seconds, should I say) it could be close...

While my list (always in flux by the way) is top heavy with Love songs, your list is very Blakeish. It's all good. Usually my favorite TFC song is the one I'm listening to at the moment. I'm pretty solid with my list of the top 3 songs (when only Don't Look Back makes your top 25). I tried to incorporate the official alternative takes (and official live songs) in my ranking. I have two live versions of Broken from the No Guitars Night back in 2001 which I really love, but I dont factor it into my ranking of the song (there was talk at the time of an official live album release to be culled from those 3 nights at the Underworld - and there was an official promo on Ebay in 2001-2 of those shows), but also, no release yet. Good luck on getting a ranking on the next 175 plus songs.

I've rated over a hundred in total, so they're easily sortable. I do want to do every official release now (apart from the Jad Fair stuff), and the same for some other favourite bands. What have you started?! :D

I realised I missed out 4766, so The World'll Be OK is new in at 49. I'm disappointed Dark Clouds dropped out of the top 50 though...
